Happy Thanksgiving! A little freebie!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the United States. Its probably one of my favorite days. And not just because of the gluttonous amounts of my favorite foods, but because of what it represents: Being thankful for all that you have in spite of what might be going on around you. This year I am thankful for my family, my friends, and for the health of everyone around me. I am thankful that I still have a job to go to everyday. And that I live in a country where I am free to voice my opinion, practice my faith and go about my business without fear. I am thankful for you, my friends in digi-land too.

This year, like most, I am on dessert duty! Our usual family gathering will be double this year because my sister is having our entire family, plus all of her in-laws. So Shirley, my sisters mother-in-law, will be making her awesome cream pies and I will be making pumpkin, praline pumpkin and chocolate pecan pies. Yum! The diet I have been on for the last 3 weeks will be on hold tomorrow!
