Recently our dear friend, Trish had a Breast Cancer scare and she decided to use her experience to remind and encourage others to take exams regularly. Early detection is vital!

Hope For A Cure Blog Hop!

Well, tomorrow marks my first time ever participating in a blog hop. I dont know why I have never done one before - But I am super excited about this one! Trish, one of the members of the Digi Design Academy, has been dealing with breast cancer. Cancer is one of those things that really hits home for many, and for me breast cancer is really close to the heart. My grandmother battled it for many years, and my mother just recently won her own fight with this horrible disease.

Several members of the DDA have joined up and done a stunning collab to raise funds for this illness. Instead of putting a charity kit in a store, where you have to just hope that the money will be handled properly, you can donate directly to the charity by following the link provided! So, I hope you will tune in tomorrow to pick up this fabulous kit and hopefully make a small donation to support this cause!

New Releases and Lots of excitement!

Well, there has been so much going on in digi land lately! INSD is always exciting, though for me this year it was spent quietly paper scrapping with my niece, Haley. She is 14 and wanted to make a book for her mom for Mother's day. Who better to help her out with that? LOL! But, she did most of it herself and made a little dent in my paper scrap stash that has been gathering dust since last mother's day. I need to come up with a new hybrid idea for my own mom before time runs out! Any ideas??

I did manage to whip up a couple of new CU releases this week. These were created by me and scanned at high resolution. You can get them from my shop at Just Digi Layouts.

The competition is so large this year that the kits had to be split between JDL and Designs In Digital! The contestants had a warm-up challenge which are available for download now and the week 1 kits will be in each shop soon!
